Emma has been talking more and more, learning new words all the time. Yesterday, we’ve noticed that she’s getting very hyper about “bobby duck”. Honestly, we have no idea what it is. But she’s very happy about it and kept on saying “bobby duck”, singing it, clapping and all.

Last night as daddy put her to bed, I heard this excited explanation from daddy… “I know what bobby duck is! It’s bunny rabbit!”

Because about 3 nights ago, both of her sleeping bags had either been washed or needs to be washed. So we bought out the winter weight one, which has a cute bunny on it. So daddy has been saying bunny rabbit to her more.

How did it get from bunny rabbit to boddy duck is a mystery to us all!

It’s probably like her “Octopus”, “Hippo” and “Donkey” are all “Ah-Po”. Sometimes you wonder if she’s seen an apple or something. “Octopus” eventually upgraded to “Ah-Bi-S”. How does the hippo and donkey look the same? Who knows! She seems happy enough about it and that’s all good.

妹妹最近越來越愛說話, 也一直在學新的字. 昨天發現他很興奮的一直說 “bobby duck”. 真的是不知道他指的是什麼. 不過他很高興的一直說, 還會一邊唱著一邊拍手, 拍腿…

昨晚爸爸帶妹妹去睡覺, 突然大聲的說: “我知道 bobby duck 是什麼了! 是 bunny rabbit!”

其實三天前因為他的睡袋都拿去洗了, 把冬天穿的那件拿出來, 那件上面有一隻兔子; 所以爸爸就比較常跟他說 bunny rabbit.

至於怎麼從 bunny rabbit 變成 bobby duck, 那就真的是不解啦!

不過他的 “Octopus” (章魚), “Hippo” (河馬) 還有”Donkey” (驢子) 都是 “Ah-Po” 開始的, 不知道還以為他看到蘋果了. “Octopus” 慢慢的演變成 “Ah-Bi-S”. 至於河馬跟驢子到底怎樣看起來很像, 我也不知道, 不過他高興就好啦.. 反正以後慢慢學就好了.

Lately, Emma had a few accidents with leaky poo nappies and whatnot, I’ve been having to wash them. Let’s just say, it isn’t very pleasant!

Until one evening, I turned around in the laundry room and saw the pair of gloves. Big smile on my face…. Then I really wish I had thought about this earlier!!

Now, I don’t care if it’s poo, vomits etc… it’s not too hard to wash; not too gross and not as bad on the hands!! (of course, it’s best that I don’t have to deal with these at all and no one has! As it means the little one is fine!)

If I had thought about this earlier, it’d be so much easier every time I had to wash something for her. Finding the pair of gloves may sound very trivial, but it sure helped a lot, mentally at least!

最近妹妹常常漏尿漏大便等等, 媽媽就要乖乖的洗. 我想天下沒有幾個媽媽喜歡處理這些吧.

直到有一天晚上, 我在洗衣房看到了一雙手套. 媽媽很開心的笑了. 真的開始覺得自己傻傻的. 怎麼沒有早一點想到呢!!

現在, 不管是怎樣的髒衣服褲子, 不怕你了! 這樣也比較不傷手…(最好是都不用洗啦…表示妹妹都好好的)

真可惜沒有早一點想到!! 雖然一雙手套很像是一件小事, 可是對我來說… 現在要幫妹妹洗東西, 感覺上就覺得, 沒問題, 我有手套! 嘿嘿嘿, 還沒開始用手套的爸爸媽媽們, 可以參考看看喔!
